About Elisa
For over 35-years, Elisa has held progressively responsible positions in healthcare administration. As the VP of Coaching for Healthcare Experience Foundation, Elisa pursues her passion of equipping and enabling leaders and organizations to achieve performance excellence. Through strategic cadence and deployment of best practices, her clients achieve impressive results in HCAHPS scores, a CMS measurement of patient engagement and quality.
Elisa obtained her Master’s Degree in Health Service Administration and maintains a current credential as a Certified Coach Practitioner and holds a Certification in DEI from Cornell Leadership Institute. She is also certified as a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
She is an experienced entrepreneur and small business owner with over 20-years in the patient experience (PX) space. She has worked with industry known organizations such as, Press Ganey, HealthStream Engagement Institute, Baptist Leadership Group and recognized by the Studer Group as a Firestarter and Model Developer at Sharp Healthcare in San Diego.
Her work experience includes COO, Sharp Healthcare/Sharp Mission Park Medical Centers, in San Diego, CA, and most recently, Elisa was a Senior Executive Leader with AMN Healthcare, a USA healthcare total talent solution company with over 90,000 deployed healthcare professionals. Family is important and Elisa enjoys writing and spending time with Lily, Rosy and Ollie, her three free-spirited granddaughters.
